• June 10 Paint and Plant Storytime 9 AM to 10 AM at The Beacon. Plant-themed story time with flower pot painting, seed planting and two fun books about seeds and flowers. Flower pots available while supplies last. Registration: www.navymwrmayport.com/read. Cost: FREE.
• June 17 Book Marks 1 PM to 3 PM at The Beacon. Decorate your new favorite bookmark. Registration: www.navymwrmayport.com/read. Cost: FREE.
• June 18 CD Wind Spinners 1 PM to 3 PM at The Beacon. Turn old CDs and DVDs into colorful wind spinners for your deck, patio or garden. Registration: www.navymwrmayport.com/read. Cost: FREE.

JULY

• July 07 Plant Transfer Handkerchiefs 9 AM to 11 AM at Lake Wonderwood. Take a walk around Lake Wonderwood to collect plants, then transfer the plants onto a handkerchief to create a nature-inspired design. Registration: www.navymwrmayport.com/read. Cost: FREE.
• July 09 Plant and Story Walk 9 AM to 11 AM at Lake Wonderwood. Walk around Lake Wonderwood, read a story and collect plants to make a bouquet during your walk. Registration: www.navymwrmayport.com/read. Cost: FREE.
• July 11 Shark Teeth Hunt 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM at NAVSTA Mayport Beach. Search for shark teeth during the first low tide of the day. Registration: www.navymwrmayport.com/read. Cost: FREE.
• July 13 Bee, Your Friend Time TBD at The Beacon. Join a conversation and educational program about local bees and local farm-to-table professionals. Registration: www.navymwrmayport.com/read. Cost: FREE.
• July 23 Book Bedazzling 1 PM to 3 PM at The Beacon. Bring your favorite book and bedazzle it to bring the story to life. Registration: www.navymwrmayport.com/read. Cost: FREE.
• July 24 How Do I Move? Relay Race 9 AM to 11 AM at Fitness Center. Learn how our bodies move from a coach or trainer, then participate in a relay race to put it into action. Registration: www.navymwrmayport.com/read. Cost: FREE.
• July 29 Read and Weave: Story Time and Craft 9 AM to 10 AM at The Beacon. Enjoy two books while creating a weaving craft. Registration: www.navymwrmayport.com/read. Cost: FREE.
