The Navy Youth Sponsorship Program is a collaborative effort between the Youth Activities Center, the School Liaison Officer, and the local school system. Relocating can be challenging for military youth, thus the program helps facilitate transition and orientation for transfer students. The program also provides support during deployments while promoting academic achievement and successful social and emotional adjustment at school and home. Contact the Teen Center for more information at (904) 246-0347.
In addition to Youth Sponsorship, Anchored4Life is offered at the Youth Activities Center within the School-Age-Care Program. The Anchored4Life Club is a place where connections happen. It is a peer-to-peer club to connect youth while building transition and resiliency skills.
