The Child Development Home (CDH) Program is an extension of the CDC Program. CDHs are independent business enterprises operated by Navy-certified military family members in their own homes. The CDH program allows young children to receive the same early start in learning just as the CDC provides, but in a home-like environment while providing continued support to parents and military readiness. Providers may live either on or off base. This program offers full-time and hourly care for children 6 weeks through 5 years old.  Ask your CDC Director about how to become a CDH provider.

This service is offered to active duty, DoD civilians, reservists on active duty or inactive duty for training, and contractors associated with the base. Our program offers full-time and hourly care for children ages six weeks to five years old. Registration for full-time care can be made at militarychildcare.com. Ask your CDC Director about how to become a CDH provider.
